Friday 19th September 2008: Rhidian Brook

Listen / Read
This twat’s getting on my tits. Is he only able to write in animal metaphors?

But, he’s right, we shouldn’t worship false idols. No no. False idols can’t talk back. Instead we should worship “the invisible”. That’s the moral lesson of the day, to worship invisible things. Because they can talk back.

I think if Rhidian Brook ever decided that being a celebrity Christian writer wasn’t for him then he should definitely consider working in mental health. He’d really be able to identify with people who hear voices. He’d tell them not only to listen to those voices, but to worship them and do everything they say. And then they’d nod in profound agreement before using the spoon they’d snuck out of the canteen to manically stab him to death.

The voices told me to do it! They said he was an animal metawhore! They said he needed a good spooning to! And he said they were right.

But it’s fine for Christians to talk about listening to invisible voices. They’re not mad at all. No no. Their worship of invisible voices is completely normal and not at all like those stupid Hindus who worship things they can see! Like actual, literal, non-metaphorical cows! The idiots! It makes much more sense to worship things you can’t see, because then when people say they don’t exist you can tell them to prove it! Prove that this invisible, intangible, all-powerful thing doesn’t actually exist even though it never shows itself or demonstrates its power in any measurable way whatsoever. Go on, prove it! Ha! You can’t can you? You can’t prove that something utterly imperceptible that only me and my special friends can hear talking to us doesn’t actually exist! Skank on you you evidence dependent morons!

My invisible friend says you’re all going to hell!
