Choirs and orchestras will save the human race from dying? Music will prevent Armageddon? But I thought that was the one thing all Christians were really looking forward to? I will never understand these people.
Bell really likes songs. In fact, I imagine he’s writing yet another song book: Armageddoff: Songs for Preventing the Human Race from Dying.
Still, being told that cooperation will save the human race by a member of a religion with over 38,000 different denominations hardly fills me with hope. They don’t exactly sing in harmony now, do they?
But I certainly hope the El Sistema project has as beneficial an impact in the UK and around the world as it has in Venezuela. What with all the SATS going out of the window, the poor little mites might actually have time to do something worth their while.
