Brian Draper there, illustrating the egocentricity of Christianity. Surveying the entirety of existence, he still wants to hold firm to the notion the the cosmos was created to make him feel special.

A microphone mishap there. Or perhaps it was God’s intention that Draper say a thank you to us listeners for having to endure his meaningless waffle all the time.

I shall leave it at that today and suggest, if you haven’t done so already, that you read Peter Hearty’s instalment over at Platitude of the Day. It’s a good example of why I don’t think Thought for the Day should be cut from the schedule, but rather opened up to contributors who might really give you something to think about.
