Unusually, I actually have an excuse for my late entry, in that I had a delightful bout of flu over the weekend. Not swine flu, but a bit off-putting nonetheless. Having perused the Thought for the Day web page, I’ve found that there’s no text or audio of Saturday’s reading. Apparently it was about Michael Jackson. I am, like most reasonable people must be, quite weary of the coverage relating to Michael Jackson’s death. I pray that the BBC will neglect to grace the web with Marshall’s penetrating insights on the topic.
