We need good leadership do we, Father Antony? And whose example might we follow? Might it be Jesus, per chance? Oh, it is. I’m such a good guesser.
We need good leaders, he says. Then he says we all need take responsibility and become good leaders ourselves. I get the feeling he doesn’t understand the concept of leadership.
You see, Father Antony, if we’re all learning to be leaders, then there will be no one left to be led. For there to be a leader, there has to be lots of followers. I think you’ll even find that’s how Jesus did it too. I believe he liked to refer to the Lord, and therefore himself, as the shepherd, and to everyone else as the sheep.
